Barbora
Barbora is a dance teacher and former professional ballroom dancer with over 15 years of experience across a range of dance styles - from tango, samba, cha cha cha and rumba to salsa and bachata. After a long break, she returned to the dance floor and has spent the past five years consistently deepening her practice in social dance, while over the last year actively teaching women and combining professional stage experience with a sensitive, body-aware approach.
She specialises in Salsa (Crossbody Salsa On1), bachata lady-styling - solo dances designed for women, where focus is placed on posture, body lines, graceful arm, hip and leg movements, elegance, fluidity, coordination and musicality. For Barbora, lady styling is an art of self-expression: not just technique, but the ability to communicate one’s inner state through movement and tell one’s story through the body to the rhythm of Latin music. She also offers private salsa and bachata lady styling lessons for dancers of all levels.
In her classes, Barbora works with body awareness and principles of biomechanics - understanding how the body naturally moves most efficiently and without unnecessary tension. It is important to her that each dancer not only learns steps and technique, but also understands the logic of movement, develops conscious body awareness, reconnects with herself and builds inner confidence.
At the heart of her teaching philosophy is authenticity. She believes true dance is born when a person feels safe within themselves and can move freely - without pretending or trying to appear a certain way. In her classes she creates a supportive, safe and vibrant atmosphere where dancers grow not only technically, but personally, discovering a deeper connection with themselves, the music and the joy of movement.
